Every status answers one question. What did the checked material establish?

Labels are evidence boundaries, not grades.

A provisional label describes the relationship between a statement and the material available at that moment. It is not a legal finding, a character judgment, or a prediction of what another decision-maker will conclude.

Assistance, controls, and approval remain distinct.

1. Model-assisted draft. Software may identify candidate claims, suggest possible source needs, organize discrepancies, or draft narrower wording. Every machine-produced classification remains provisional.
2. Deterministic controls. Required fields, claim limits, source receipts, contradictions, exclusions, and sign-off conditions are checked. A final Verified status is blocked when the receipt or approval is missing.
3. Named human review. The reviewer checks sources and selected arithmetic, resolves or preserves contradictions, removes conclusions outside the service boundary, approves each client-facing status, and signs the report.

A citation is not the same as a checked receipt.

A link, filename, founder statement, management summary, publication identifier, or model output does not prove a claim by itself. The report records what was actually opened or received, which version was checked, the relevant excerpt or calculation, and the limitations that remained.

• Supplied and checked sources are listed separately from sources requested but not supplied.
• Unchecked references remain unchecked, even when they appear credible.
• Definitions, dates, comparison points, units, periods, and source ownership are recorded when they affect meaning.
• Missing or contradictory records remain visible in the final limitations.

A person must stand behind the delivered status.

• It does not claim scientific validation across language models or proven production performance.
• It does not replace legal, accounting, tax, securities, investment, medical, regulatory, patent, valuation, or fundraising review.
• It does not establish that every relevant source was supplied or that later versions will remain consistent.
